Hello there. I am 27 years old and I am profoundly deaf and have been since I were a baby. My mum had german measles when pregnant with me and thats what triggered my deafness.
I wear a digital hearing aid and can lip read very well. My hearing and speech is very good.
I am married and have a daughter.
I would like to meet penpals that are deaf from all round the world, as I dont have many deaf people round where I live. Prefebaly if they married and got children.

Im here to try to bridge the gap between the daef and hearing world by seeking new friends in that area-i am versed in ASL , SEE , and SPE . i have had a couple of deaf friends-and would be interested in meeting a couple more. I also wouldnt mind meeting and dating a deaf woman. Im kinda ugly to look at and im poor as a church mouse bvut i have a good heart, or so id like to think that i do anyhow.
Many interests, and i speak a spattering of about 14 different laungauges. Id like to hear from you out there, and age is not important to me.
i spent 13 years in the navy, and have an extensive educational background.
